Dr Karen Hardwick

Dr Hardwick qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in April 2010 from the University of Leeds. She is a registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health & Care Professions Council (PYL25270) and she is a member of the British Psychological Society and Division of Clinical Psychology (membership no. 163248).
She has 10 years’ professional mental health experience within the NHS, working with a wide range of mental health and learning difficulties with adults, children, groups and families. She also has specialist experience within the areas child development and neurodevelopmental disorders including Autistic Spectrum Conditions.
Alongside her work in the NHS, Karen has been engaged in independent practice since January 2011. Within this role she conducts psychological assessment and treatment of mental health difficulties across the age range. She has a particular interest and experience in assessing and treating anxiety disorders and post traumatic stress disorder with adults and children.
Karen is experienced in delivery training on issues including anxiety, attachment and child development. She is also trained in and available for supervision.
