Northern Clinical Psychology Services

ABOUT
Northern Clinical Psychology Services (NCPS) was established in 2010 by Dr Adele Parker, a Chartered Clinical Psychologist, who has worked in the field of child & adolescent mental health for over 16 years. Adele strongly believes in quality and works hard to ensure children, young people and their families receive 'gold' standard assessment, therapy and consultation services to improve and promote both emotional and physical well-being and overall lifestyle.

Our caring team of qualified and experienced professionals provide specialist services for children and young people (up to the age of 25 years old) with a wide range of generic mental health and developmental difficulties.

Whilst based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, we provide services across the Yorkshire region and beyond.

OUR SERVICES

"At NCPS we’re small enough for everyone to get personal care and attention, but large enough to have all the different skills our children, young people, and their families need. Every member of our team is friendly and discreet as well as being qualified and experienced.

We’re fully qualified and registered with all relevant professional bodies, including the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC), British Psychological Society (BPS), British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and Royal College of Psychiatrists (RCPsych)

We make a point of offering individuals choice and flexibility as well as care and professionalism. We are here to support and help you in the best way we possibly can. We look forward to hearing from you."

TESTIMONIAL

I cannot recommend the service provided by Adele and NCPS highly enough. Our son was diagnosed with OCD which was causing considerable distress and having a severe impact on both his social life and mental well being.

When we first engaged with Adele the symptoms were getting worse and we could not see any way forward. Through her patient support and coaching, he has learned numerous techniques to help him manage the condition. In addition, the support has helped us as a family better understand the condition and support our son. The positive impact has been truly life changing and we cannot thank Adele or recommend NCPS too highly.
